Good questions.
Is KneezUp free?
Planning is free: every trip has everything until a week before it starts. After that, one Trip Pass (£6.99, once per trip, not a subscription) keeps it going for the whole group. Whoever buys it can split it across everyone on the tab, so it's about £1 each.
How do we find a date that suits everyone?
Start a trip without dates and set the ground rules: the earliest and latest dates, how many nights (or whole weeks), which days it can start on and who has to be there. Everyone taps the days they can do, can't do, or could if they have to, and KneezUp ranks the dates that suit the most people. Put the best few to a vote, lock one in and everyone's told. Anyone who hasn't answered gets a reminder, so you don't have to chase.
Does everyone need to download the app?
No. Share the invite link in your group chat and people can join in their browser in about a minute. The iPhone and iPad app adds notifications and photo uploads from the camera roll.
Can it split costs on a stag or hen do?
Yes. Add what each person paid, from the hotel to the first round, and the tab works out who owes who in the fewest payments. Everyone sees the same numbers.
Is it only for stag and hen dos?
Not at all. It works for any group trip: birthdays, festivals, city breaks, golf trips, lads' and girls' weekends away and family get-togethers.
Does it work on Android?
Yes, in the browser. Open kneezup.app on any phone to plan or join a trip. The native app is on iPhone and iPad.
Who can see our trip?
The people on it. Trips are private to your group, you sign in with your mobile number and there are no passwords. We never sell your data or show ads. To support the app and make it better, the team at KneezUp can open a trip's plan, rooms, travel and tab; photos and the words of POAs aren't shown, and every look is recorded.
